The helmet is super comfortable. There is absolutely no heaviness or pressure. The nose is completely free and you can breathe easily. True, when you play for a long time, red marks remain on your forehead and cheekbones. Lenses do not fog up, you can see everything very well. After the game, the eyes do not get tired. It's really cool that the helmet can be worn over the goggles. The system strongly warns in advance about the discharge of batteries, with such a warning I still play quietly for several more hours. The controllers are not very ergonomic, in my hand they do not lie like a glove. In order for the controllers to work properly, bright light is needed in the room. I changed 3 light bulbs for more powerful ones, because the system constantly complained about the environment being too dark. The detail on the toys is impressive. Engagement during the game is maximum. Although the main disappointment for me was that it was impossible to play Fallout 4, Doom, Skyrim in this helmet. But overall, I'm very satisfied with the glasses. The helmet is comfortable and does not feel heavy. The nose is free and you can breathe easily. The lenses do not fog up, the eyes do not get tired after the game. The helmet can be worn over the goggles. The system warns in advance of low batteries. The detail on the toys is impressive. The controllers are not very ergonomic and need bright light in the room to work properly. It is impossible to play with this helmet in Fallout 4, Doom, Skyrim. ![]()
The "space" VR headset under the sign of the Taiwanese brand HTC is designed to bring virtual reality technology to the masses. The model is designed to work in conjunction not only with a PC, but also with smartphones, which opens up new horizons for using a VR helmet.
Spatial orientation
There is no need to "dance with a tambourine" to connect and configure HTC Vive Cosmos glasses, since all sensors are concentrated inside the headset. For example, a quartet of spatial orientation cameras (two “eyes” on the front panel and a couple of lenses on the sides) is responsible for the accuracy of tracking movements and, accordingly, the depth of immersion in the worlds of virtual reality. They also track the position of the glowing rings on the hand controllers, which are worn on both wrists of the user.
Developed ergonomics
The headset is connected to the PC via a wire. In terms of ergonomics, the brainchild of HTC is ahead of the rest: a comfortable “fit” for a VR helmet, flexible adjustment of the position of the headphones and a quick-release design for a quick return to the real world are just a small fraction of the positive qualities of the model in terms of operating comfort.
Vive Reality Platform
The experience of interacting with the helmet from the first minutes of use is designed to facilitate the Vive Reality platform, which provides new ways to display content. The software shell brings together an intuitive user interface, Mozilla's built-in VR browser, digital storefront, and social services under its wing. The model costs a lot, but the price tag in this case is fully justified by the depth of immersion in virtual worlds, taking into account the ease of handling the headset.
