One of the best VR helmets. Stunning viewing angles, good color rendition, mechanical adjustment of interpupillary distance, good display resolution. If you have money, then you must take this helmet.
Everything listed above.
High price, requires a fairly powerful PC. At least with i7 3770k and GTX 1060 Ti.

The Pro version of the popular HTC Vive virtual reality headset, developed in close cooperation between HTC and Valve (the creator of the Steam gaming service), was released at the dawn of 2018. This is by no means a cheap toy for owners of powerful PCs that have the highest demands on the quality of the reproduced image.

Full immersion

The helmet fits your head like a glove - its weight is evenly distributed along the head, and no outside light penetrates inside at all. Accordingly, nothing distracts from the holistic perception of the image on two AMOLED displays with a resolution of 1440x1600. The refresh rate of the displays is 90 Hz, and the viewing angles are 110 °. In this regard, there are no differences from the basic version of the VR helmet.

Decent equipment

The model has built-in Hi-Res headphones that provide spatial realistic sound, a pair of forward-facing cameras for augmented reality, and two microphones with active noise cancellation. This is without taking into account the sensors included: an accelerometer, a gyroscope, a proximity sensor, and an IPD sensor for adjusting the interpupillary distance. At the same time, hand motion controllers, base stations, and a wireless adapter will have to be purchased separately, because they are not included in the package.

Omnivorous

The helmet is good because you can run any game from the huge Steam library on it. However, for comfortable gaming you will need a PC with powerful hardware and a lot of free space in the room (about 2.5x2.5 m). Well, you need to save up a tidy sum to buy the model together with the accompanying peripherals, equal to the cost of about two basic modifications of the HTC Vive and two and a half Oculus Rift VR helmets. However, it is worth it.

Additional features vr headset HTC Vive Pro:
  • Track camera in a helmet to track movement or display objects in a room
  • Built-in dual microphone
  • USB type C connector
  • Display port connector
  • Built-in Bluetooth module
