I often have to talk on my cell phone while driving. The specifics of the new job are such that I’m on the road almost half of the working day, and incoming calls happen at least once every 10-15 minutes. Naturally, using a smartphone in the usual way in such conditions is extremely inconvenient and dangerous. I was about to buy a Bluetooth headset for my ear, but it turned out that getting used to a piece of plastic behind my ear was not so easy. It began to irritate me especially when it got hotter and it became clear that I needed to look for a replacement. I learned about Jabra Drive from a well-known Internet resource, ordered it, and have been using it with pleasure for the second week now. It turned out to be an extremely convenient thing. I hung it on the visor of the driver's seat and now there are simply no problems with conversations. The sound is distinct and clearly audible, the volume is widely adjustable and sufficient. It is charged from a USB computer or through a special complete converter from the on-board power supply voltage, which is plugged into the cigarette lighter. It charges quite quickly, about three hours. The charge lasts a long time; I lasted almost six days on the first full charge. It works not only in the cabin, but also at a moderate distance from it. It worked within 5-6 meters, I checked it personally. In short, read the instructions and everything will work out for you. The sound is a little “plastic”, but the smartphone doesn’t sound any better. I didn’t immediately figure out pairing with a smartphone; the procedure is not entirely trivial. My partner’s old Sony Erickson phone refused to work, but he has a GSM “dinosaur”, so it’s just a matter of the phone or its firmware. |
