Supreme technology compensates for the high frequency content lost during audio file compression, especially at low bit rates. Supreme technology allows music recorded at low bit rates (64-96 kbps) to be played back in equivalent quality to high bit rates (128 kbps).

The Bass Boost function boosts only the low-frequency signal, expanding its playback bandwidth in addition to the usual loudness. This increases the amount of bass in the overall sound and corrects for the insufficiently wide dynamic range of the low frequencies of the speaker system.
