Worth your money. A little upset valkost. Everything else is great.
 16 June 2021
I was looking for budget tyres for a comfortable, sometimes aggressive ride. Bought on the advice of friends. The price is really not high, although I would not say that it is straight budget. This is what I got: a completely comfortable, not noisy tyre, created more for the city than for the highway. It rolls, which is not very suitable for me, but comfortable in the pits. I tried to download 2.7 atmospheres, - the situation improved a little, but not much. Ie for the drive, I would not recommend it. Holds up well on the highway. If without maneuvers, then everything is super. Pleased with the noise level. Until 60-70 it is not audible at all. In the rain, oddly enough, there is more sharpness of control. Braking is good, I checked the brake to the floor in the parking lot - it doesn’t whistle when braking, there are no jerks, everything is quite tolerable. Let's see how the season rolls back, if there are comments, I'll write another review. I really hope that the sidewall here is strong, because before that there was a conti, and everything is bad with it there.
Soft, swallows small holes well, does not hit the steering wheel, swallows bumps. Doesn't slow down badly. Not noisy, even surprised.
The car lost a little in the sharpness of control + in the corners there was a slight roll. That is, the wheels are not for driving.

At the dawn of its appearance in 2013, the HS51 model from South Korean tyre manufacturers from Kumho was ranked among the low-cost Solus series. However, due to the improvement in driving performance, it was rewritten to a more status line of Ecsta, whose representatives are drawn to the class of sports tyres.

Asymmetric "arrangement"

In order to ensure consistently high driving properties on dry and wet road surfaces, the tyre was equipped with a tread with an asymmetric “arrangement” of functional elements. The central segment of the treadmill is represented by a trio of longitudinal ribs of a rigid structure, the prerogative of which is to maintain the directional stability of the car at high speeds.

Effective zoning

The outer closed part of the asymmetric tread of the tyre increases the resistance to side slips when making manoeuvres. Internal — responsible for stable behavior on wet roads. Blocks of "vnutryanka" are separated by wide drainage grooves, which accelerate the outflow of water from the quartet of the main drainage channels.

rubber cocktail

The rubber compound of the model with the addition of styrene-butadiene rubber and highly dispersed microsilica increased the wear resistance of the tread and reduced rolling resistance. The result was not long in coming — Kumho Ecsta HS51 "runs" for a long time and saves more than one liter of fuel. Caution must be exercised only in the situation with curb runs, since the soft sidewalls of the tyre can be prone to side cuts.
