Size 215/65R16 102 H I use it on a Mercedes W639 with rear-wheel drive and automatic transmission. The car's weight without load is 2100 kg. To me, it doesn't seem neither stiff nor noisy. In city driving at speeds up to 60, I don't hear it at all. At speeds over 80, there is some noise, but not much more than other highway tires. I had high hopes for off-road capability. But alas, the first exit onto muddy clay ended with a search for a tractor. On wet clay, it doesn't move and is no better than regular highway tires. Maybe it's better on other terrains, but now I'm apprehensive about leaving the asphalt at all. I understand it's not the tire's fault; the car isn't meant for this, but there is a bit of disappointment. I bought chains, bracelets, tracks, and a winch. Rear-wheel drive doesn't move on clay, even on level ground. ESP restricts the engine, and when turned off, the rear slides to the side. I read that AT tires behave the same way on clay. Soft, not noisy Pebbles are annoying. On soggy clay, there is no advantage over a purely road tire. use Michelin Latitude Cross 225/65 R17 102H few months |
Frame SUV (2200 kg). Just bought it, but have already driven about 1000 km. It behaves well and predictably both in dry and wet conditions. No aquaplaning (up to 100 km/h), haven't tried it in the rain beyond that. In previous reviews, it was mentioned that it brakes poorly due to the sipes, but I disagree with that. If you drive at 140 km/h and then it doesn't stop on a dime, they might be right. But stones do indeed fly out of the tires rapidly, that's a fact. I chose the tires for trips and off-roading, but I didn't want A/T because I don't like the noise and stiffness. I wouldn't say I've been in serious off-road conditions with these tires, but when the mud reached halfway up the wheel, I still regret not letting them show their potential and turning on the differential lock too early. If you are choosing between a summer tire and A/T because you want to drive through fields, this is the best choice! Good tread. No noise. Handles medium off-road! Side lugs present. Sidewall protection against curbs!!! Awesome appearance) disadvantages?... they definitely exist, but since I see only the advantages and have driven only about 1000 km, I haven't noticed them yet ) just bought Michelin Latitude Cross |
i often drive fully loaded to the max, over long distances, about 700-800 km, the tires warm up and perform excellently, the price is a bit high, but the quality is great. I'm very pleased with the wear, only 30% over a year, and 30,000 km driven. Truly excellent tires! good high tread, perfect for dirt, grass, or swamps super overall, but on dry asphalt, the sipes perform terribly during emergency braking, it happened to me once, almost hit ((( on water it performs just great, the radial pattern and high profile divert water excellently, I don't even think about braking in puddles, the rubber is quite soft on regular asphalt as well as on joints and potholes. After a year, it wore down by 30% with a mileage of almost 30 thousand. Low noise. soft sidewalls, they provide the car with its softness, but on rough terrain, especially rocky, they can tear ((( ![]() |
