The bagless cordless vacuum cleaner of the popular Dutch brand Philips, which is primarily characterized by versatility and a fairly long battery life. First of all, we note that the device combines several types of vacuum cleaners at once — a classic vertical model for dry cleaning + a model for wet cleaning + compact manual. At the same time, the product is characterized by relatively low weight and a vertical type of parking — it can easily stand in a corner and not take up extra space in the room.

In addition to traditional dry cleaning and the ability to detach a portable vacuum cleaner from the main structure, Philips FC 6404 has another “chip” — it supports wet cleaning of rooms, for which a special nozzle with a 200 mL water tank is included in the model package.
Wet cleaning
At first glance, the volume of the tank of the wet cleaning nozzle may seem small. However, the actual operation of the vacuum cleaner shows that there is enough water in it to wash floors on an area of up to 50 m². Attached are two microfibre cloths with Hook-and-loop. The nozzle itself is attached directly to the brush of the vacuum cleaner using magnets.
Working hours
At normal power, the vacuum cleaner is able to hold out on a single battery charge for about 40 minutes. In the maximum power mode, the battery life is halved. Vacuuming while the battery replenishes its energy reserves, unfortunately, is impossible. Even if such a possibility would be provided, the length of the power cord is not conducive to comfortable use of the vacuum cleaner during charging.
Practicality
During operation, the vacuum cleaner makes a minimum of noise — it can be used even at night without fear of disturbing the sensitive sleep of neighbors. A complete nozzle for a portable unit with a fleecy tip will help to clean shelves and mezzanines from dust, and an electric powered turbobrush, planted on a flexible connection with a bar, will reach far corners under a bed or table (as far as the length of the handle is enough).
Effective cleaning
The 0.6 liter dust container can be easily detached for cleaning from debris. In general , the model does an excellent job of removing dirt not only on smooth surfaces, but also on carpets. It can be recommended to those people who are going to use an upright vacuum cleaner as their main one. The main thing is to accumulate enough funds for it, since the language does not turn to name the cost of the model as affordable.
