Cooling. I live on the 5th floor of the 5-room, the roof is on fire in the summer. And this air conditioner can cool the room and, in addition to it, the corridor and the kitchen.
The price is great. Saturn's parents have two air conditioners that were bought 5 years ago. Now Saturn, Midea costs unreal money .. I remembered one drawback, which for some may be significant. The air conditioner itself displays all the information using white LED light. And at night it can disturb some. Not that it was too bright. Comparable to the minimum backlight of a smartphone screen that hangs on the wall. It's not critical, you get used to it quickly. Despite the low price, the air conditioner is very suitable. I expected to see thin plastic, maybe not the best build quality, and generally total savings. But the first impression was quite different. The plastic of the indoor unit is dense and of high quality, the assembly is neat, nothing dangles or backlash, no squeaks and other extraneous sounds during operation. The outdoor unit is also good, heavy, with a rigid frame, sheet metal of sufficient thickness. During operation, it buzzes a little, but in principle, this is an outdoor unit and its noise remains on the street, so there is nothing particularly terrible in this buzz. It can both cool and heat the 15-meter room in which it is installed, and if you do not close the door, then the 7-meter hall also serves well. True, I tried heating only once, right after the installation, which was in the month of May, I chose a cold night and turned it on for 10 minutes. For obvious reasons, now it only works for cooling and copes well. Using a small remote control, you can not only set the temperature, but also adjust the speed and direction of the air supply, which affects the mixing and averaging of the volume, there is also a timer and the Slip function. It does not work silently, but quietly, so there is no anxiety from it. Has an official two-year warranty. The outdoor unit is a bit noisy in my opinion. The remote control is very small and not very comfortable in my large hand. Especially annoying is the tiny screen, which clearly lacks space. |
I have a friend who sells various climate equipment, and when the question arose of choosing the manufacturer and model of the air conditioner for my small new office, I decided to consult him. And as I now understand, I did it very timely. In fact, reading all sorts of guides and thematic topics on specialized forums made me think of forking out and taking a completely expensive inverter model. But I heard a completely different advice, a friend asked me why the air conditioner was needed and recommended not to bother with the inverter, but to take this inexpensive option. The argument was ironclad: noise in a non-residential office space is not fundamental, the savings from an inverter in such an area will be a penny, and the price difference is huge and it will stupidly never pay for itself. I almost forgot, I still doubted about the heating, which only works up to -7 degrees, and a friend explained to me that it is generally not advisable to drive the air conditioner for a long time in heating mode, it is not suitable for this and the compressor resource is consumed 2-3 times faster, than during normal operation. If we talk about this model briefly, then two words are asked for language - simple and effective. Responsible for cooling a large room with an area of about 26 squares and copes without problems. The temperature drops quickly and keeps more or less evenly. At low speeds it does not work silently, but there is no loud noise, at high speeds it buzzes a little, but nothing serious either, it does not interfere with work. The official guarantee is not bad, two full years and we have a service in our city. In the summer heat, it consumes about 7-7.5 kWh per day, which is a lot. Although if you convert it into money (1.81 UAH per kWh), then it turns out not so much. Recently discovered such a function as a delayed shutdown. For example, I set a timer for 4 hours (and sleep 6) and two hours before I wake up. And the apartment cooled down and the light turned on a little.
For the world. I have one of the new electricity meters and I can roughly see how much the air conditioner is using. And this is not more than 650 watts. But this is not a constant consumption of electricity. After a while, when the air conditioner cools down, the consumption drops to 20 watts. In general, the air conditioner did not hit the bills at all (unlike the oven :) ).
Now I advise everyone to sensei air conditioners. I bought Osaka for 25 squares for my parents and, apparently, the model is similar to mine, only a different remote control and logo .. I bought it even cheaper.
For those who install the air conditioner for the first time, I recommend competently looking for installers! 99% of the performance of the air conditioner depends on the installation. Before buying, consider where it is cost-effective to put the air conditioner and also where it will be comfortable. From practice, you should install an air conditioner 5-10 squares more than the area to be cooled, so that the air conditioner does not "suffocate" but does its job.
