I was choosing between Go pro Hero 4, Sony AS300 and Sony HDR-AS50, I settled on the latter, since the price and quality match the best for me. I forgot to say this is my second action camera, the first one was pure Chinese and shot in comparison with this one! Took in Komfi. black color gives this camera solidity, very cool lies in the hand! attracts the brand and price of the camera! it’s over, no 4k, but I’ll survive) I want to try filming under water, but I feel boxing won’t stand it (I took it for outdoor activities with my family) of the pluses, I note - a high viewing angle, - excellent filming quality, - there is at least no but three-fold zoom, - there is an underwater box in the kit, - cool stabilization. -there is Wi-Fi and, just in case, gps modules, -the sound is good, -the battery is of sufficient capacity for shooting videos for about 2 hours. ultraHD: not supported there are not as many accessories in the kit as there are with Chinese action cameras, - the photos are so-so, - there is no 4k shooting  Дмитрий: use Sony HDR-AS50 few months |
Всегда нравилась техника Sony, причем это любовь распространяется исключительно на то, чем я сам пользовался. То есть я обожаю их беззеркальные фотоаппараты, видеокамеры и смартфоны. Съемка видео это один из явных коньков этой марки и в этом смысле такая камера достойно продолжает славные традиции высокого качества, характерные для всемирно известного японского концерна. Фокус в том, что 95% всех производителей проектируют свои камеры из комплектующих других производителей и это всегда своеобразный компромисс. Но в этом случае почти все самое важно компания Sony делает сама. Матрица Exmor R CMOS с обратной засветкой и размером 1/2.3", процессор BIONZ X, объектив Тessar (создан в сотрудничестве с Zeiss), прошивка созданная инженерами Sony – все это работает как единое целое и дает шикарную картинку с разрешением 1920х1080 при фреймрейте до 60 fps. Камера имеет встроенную продвинутую цифровую стабилизацию, поэтому небольшие колебания она вообще не замечает и способна неплохо справляться с тряской сильнее средней. Изображение получается достаточно детальным и четким как при хорошем освещении, так и в сумерках. А ночная съемка, слабое место многих камер, ей дается удивительно легко. В комплектацию кроме аквабокса и креплений входит удобный дистанционный пульт Live-View, который можно прикрепить даже на запястье. Камера умеет делать интервальную и серийную съемку, предусмотрена и циклическая запись, что позволяет использовать ее как регистратор. Видео пишется на флешку формата micro SDHC или SDXC емкостью до128 Гб. А еще камера оборудована WiFi-модулем, который соединяет ее со смартфоном. Креплений в комплекте могло бы быть и побольше, цена то у камеры совсем не детская. Что характерно, эти фирменные аксессуары существуют, но продаются за отдельную плату. |

The Sony HDR-AS50 features high-quality Zeiss Tessar optics with f/2.8 aperture. Only unlike its counterparts, the angle of the lens field of view can be adjusted programmatically. In addition, it has a 3x magnification, which makes it possible to capture distant objects with greater detail.
4K timelapses
The latest fashion trends have bypassed the action camera — the maximum resolution of the videos recorded by it is 1920x1080 pixels. But you can still get 4K from it: the camera can create time-lapses in ultra-high resolution, formed from a number of 8-megapixel photos. Otherwise, there are practically no differences from their predecessors — video recording is carried out with a maximum bit rate of 50 Mbps paired with the advanced XAVC S codec.
Stabilization
According to the manufacturer, the Steady Shot image stabilization system is three times more effective than previous models. The main emphasis in it is on the suppression of high-frequency vibrations from motors, which makes it possible to obtain a clean picture when attaching an action camera to a radio-controlled helicopter or drone.

I am glad that Sony is listening to the comments of the owners of previous generations of their action cameras. Japanese engineers not only redesigned the body, but also added sound signals indicating the activation of a certain mode, and equipped the body of the camera with three LED indicators. Feedback from the manufacturer, paired with a wide range of accessories, allows us to recommend the camcorder to anyone who is more or less fond of active pastime and likes to record this process on video.
