I have been using this tool since 2000, first calm 036, then calm 360 and finally calm ms 361. So the saw during this time has become much more perfect compared to its predecessors, I won’t list it. The saw in its class became ideal until 2014. after that, they began to install a piston not from the MAHLE company (with a yellowish silicon carbide coating developed by BMW) on the chainsaw, which did not wear out, but installed a piston from an unknown manufacturer (with a white coating similar to chrome as on Chinese saws) which is wiped during constant use after 8-9 months and I'm not talking about pistons on which in 50% of cases the jumper between the rings bursts. Judge for yourself piston costs 5500 gr. and its resource is rather weak. Power to weight and vibration ratio, long life bearings and crankshaft. Quite flimsy piston and high cost of repair. use STIHL MS 361 40 more than year |
