The Sven company ate a dog on the acoustics of the initial segment, thanks to which it is in good standing with buyers. The Sven SPS-635 set, which is among the leaders in sales in class 2.0, is no exception. All thanks to the combination of an affordable price with good sound, full tone control (both treble and bass) and an excellent design with a glossy black cabinet, concave black cones and an asymmetric speaker arrangement. Seriously, when $50 speakers are easily mistaken for a Hi-Fi kit, it's expensive.
High-quality sound with a power reserve of 40 W
The total power of the SPS-635 is standard for this class of 40 watts and in general for their $ 50 speakers sound like a solid five. The tweeters, despite their size, cover a decent range and are in good agreement with the woofers. The bass is quite clear and accentuated, although slightly boomy. Thanks to the front bass reflex, the speakers can be safely placed close to the wall without fear of parasitic reflections.
Flexible tone control
Also pleased with the maximum volume limit with minor distortion. However at a volume of around 90%, it is better to turn the bass down a little to avoid unnecessary wheezing and distortion. In general, the kit is equally well suited for playing music of any genre, as well as for dubbing films. The only pity is that there is no remote control included, if you want to tweak the sound or add volume, you will have to reach for the side panel on the right column.
P.S. The cord between the speakers is long, while from the main to the outlet - it's short, about 120cm (didn't measure exactly). The audio cables are of high quality, thick. However, over time, they turned out to be junk. After 2 months, they started clicking like a cricket as if one was sitting in the speakers. With an interval of a second. Click, click. I unplug the cord from the motherboard output - it stops. Thought it was the motherboard. Connected to an MP3 player - it clicks again. I take out the cord and touch it with my finger - it starts clicking again... In short, there's something with the speaker amplification electronics.
