Compared to Velbon cx-686, this one is much more stable and stronger. With care, it will last a long time. I recommend to all. Great tripod at an affordable price. Smooth running, easy control. Fast preparation for work. I'll highlight only 2 disadvantages: 1. There is no service maintenance and spare parts; with any breakdown, it's off to the landfill. I have a 686 model lying around - the lift handle popped out and got lost - after 2 years of searching, I have not found it anywhere. 2. The platform is not refined (it would be nice to have the ability to move it slightly back and forth, to center the camera's center of gravity), it would even be nice to include another platform with a larger screw thread in the set (my camera has a larger thread in the center, and when screwing the camera with a regular thread, the camera tips forward significantly). use Velbon DV-7000 month or more i recommend it should buy |
