Aggressive "predator" from Acer flaunts its gaming essence, demonstrating to others the Predator logo, red inserts on the body and dedicated WASD keys on the keyboard block — attributes of a serious gaming solution. The power of the laptop does not take — in most possible configurations, a confident "flight" of the lion's share of modern games is provided. The hardware of the Acer Predator Helios 300 PH317-52 is built around 4-core Intel Core i5 or i7 processors of the Coffee Lake generation.
Complementing the picture is a bunch of 8/16 GB of DDR4 RAM (with the possibility of increasing the amount of RAM up to 32 GB) and a gaming graphics card NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti or GTX 1060 (optional). In many modifications of the model, two drives are installed: an SSD drive with a capacity of 128 or 256 GB along with a classic terabyte hard drive. The laptop screen is based on an IPS-matrix of FullHD format (1920x1080 pixels) with a refresh rate of 60 Hz.
The display measures 17.3" diagonally. From the connectors on board the device has everything you need: 4 USB ports, one of which is Type-C, HDMI connector, Ethernet, card reader and 3.5mm mini-jack. Not a strong point of the laptop is battery life, which, however, is typical of all gaming laptops. Nevertheless, the manufacturer promises 6 hours of operation of the device in the mode of moderate loads without external energy supply.
