The latest generation of Apple Mac mini nettops came out in 2014, but are still in demand today. And all because even the junior MGEM2 configuration is equipped with a Core i5-4260U processor with Turbo Boost auto overclocking up to 2.7 GHz and powerful, by integrated standards, Intel HD 5000 graphics (40 execution units).
Full metal jacket
The Mac mini case is made of aluminum-magnesium alloy, which is why the nettop not only looks stylish, but also cools effectively and quietly. In addition to the widely used interfaces, it is worth noting the presence of two Thunderbolt (compatible with monitors, removable storage devices, and even external video cards) and an IR sensor for remote control (the remote control itself is purchased separately). And the Mac mini is a rare nettop with an internal, rather than external, power supply (less "junk" on the table).
Macintosh included
The amount of RAM (4 GB) and the performance of the disk subsystem (500 GB HDD) in the basic MGEM2 model, of course, leaves much to be desired. And while an M.2 SSD can be installed without losing the HDD, the RAM is soldered directly to the motherboard and cannot be upgraded. Fortunately, the proprietary macOS operating system, thanks to careful optimization, works quickly even with 4 GB of RAM. We recommend buying it primarily to those who already have an iPhone or iPad to automatically sync personal data with the Mac mini via iTunes and iCloud.

Это уже мой второй Mac mini. Самый первый купил ещё в 2009 году, он побольше был, белый и с оптическим приводом. Машинка отслужила отлично, оправдала все вложенные в нее деньги. Однако пришлось и ее менять - производительности уже катастрофически не хватает, да и система охлаждения гудеть сильно начала. С выбором нового компьютера вопрос даже и не стоял. Тем более, что есть хорошие клавиатура, мышка и монитор, оставшиеся в наследство от старой модели. Для домашнего использования идеальная система. Также отлично подойдет и в качестве медиацентра. Очень компактный, но с очень высокой производительностью. Дизайн на высоте. Качество сборки идеальное. В результате имеем приятный и внешне и на ощупь брусок из алюминия без единого шва. Ну и самое главное достоинство любого компьютера Apple - это операционная система. Никаких глюков или вирусов, много удобных фишечек и максимум удобства. Есть два разъема Thunderbolt, хотя они мне и не нужны, но все равно это достоинство системы. Нельзя увеличить объем оперативной памяти, она припаяна прямо на материнку. Так что покупайте сразу так, чтоб достаточно было. Мне вот 4 ГБ более чем достаточно. Но жесткий диск сменить на SSD все же можно. Чего сам хочу сделать и вам настоятельно советую. Есть и еще одна проблема, но она типична для многих устройств от Apple - это расположение разъемов USB. Они очень тесно прижаты друг к другу. Кабели втыкаются без проблем, а вот флешку с увеличенными размерами потом уже не вставить. Лечится простым удлинителем. Тем более, что благодаря нему и подключать становится удобнее, все разъемы только на задней панели. На переднюю компания похоже принципиально выносить их не хочет. отличный домашний компьютер. Занимает мало места по сравнению с другими компами беззвучный .Производительность прекрасная.Деньги не на ветер. Советую тем кто умеет экономить деньги. Недостатков нет just bought Apple Mac mini 2014 i recommend it should buy |
