Step by step evolution
be quiet! Pure Power 11 FM — which began as a non-modular series of power supplies from the German brand, first became semi-modular, and now fully modular. Along with this, the efficiency also increased — from the initial Bronze to the already much more solid Gold.
Reliable circuitry
The visual differences in the new Pure Power 11 FM compared to the previous CM (both sub-series will be sold in parallel) are minimal — only the colour of the fan frame has changed from orange to white. Under the hood of the Pure Power 11 FM is the FSP electronic platform (it is also used in one step of the older Straight Power PSU series).
Not afraid of the heat
Capacitors are used Taiwanese Teapo: large high-voltage is designed for operating temperatures up to 85°C, and small low-voltage — up to 105°C. Considering the dense arrangement of small air conditioners, as well as their close proximity to the hot elements of the PSU, the decision is quite justified.
Quieter than water, lower than grass
The fan is branded be quiet! with a diameter of 12 centimeters, on a bearing with a screw thread (Rifle Bearing). Of course, this is not ultra-durable hydrodynamics, but it is in any way better than the simplest plain bearing (Sleeve Bearing). The turntable rotates at very low speeds: in a simple PC, the noise is generally indistinguishable by ear 9 decibels, and under maximum load it is still very quiet 21 dB.
