How to choose a gaming headphoneWe understand the differences between regular and gaming headphones, tell you how to approach the choice of a headset wisely
Model overview based on user reviews
The Bose QuietControl 30 headphones are praised for their excellent sound quality and long battery life, making them a pleasure to use, especially for music lovers. They are designed with a neck strap, providing comfort during activities like running, although some users note that they might press on the neck with extended use. The headphones offer active noise cancellation, though some users feel the sound insulation could be improved. Despite minor drawbacks, such as the inability to use them while charging and a less-than-ideal microphone quality, the overall build quality and user experience are highly rated. These headphones are particularly suitable for those who prioritize sound quality and comfort in their listening experience.

For sports, they'll be just right. But mainly, don't use them for too long; you might encounter some minor issues.
Sound is good. Happy with the listening experience. The quality of the plastic and the headphones overall is a solid 5.
With active use, it will press on the neck.

Music lover on a walk

If most true wireless models with active noise cancellation are designed for athletes and usability, the Bose QuietControl 30 is a slightly different beast. These are conventional wireless vacuum headphones with an emphasis on high-end sound, maximum comfort and high-quality noise reduction. A kind of indispensable companion for a music lover who loves walking.

Favorite tracks in complete silence

Listening to music in them is a pleasure. If you're a Bose fan, then look no further than the popular QuietControl 35, the sound quality and character are very similar: the sound is somewhat neutral and crystal clear, with scrupulous attention to detail. They do an excellent job with compositions of any type and complexity, whether it's orchestration loaded with live instruments or Lil Pump's rocking beat. Despite their size, the QuietControl 30 has a spacious feel, doesn't cause fatigue at high volumes, and won't tyre your ears after an hour of listening to music.

Really useful mobile app

An important part of Bose audio equipment is the proprietary Bose Connect application, which significantly expands the possibilities of using headphones. For example, it has a scale for adjusting the level of noise reduction (by the way, noise reduction is excellent), an auto-off timer, the ability to view a list of connected devices, set equalizer settings, etc. And this is not to mention the fact that the application shows all the important data about track, even if you listen to music from external streaming sites like SoundCloud or Bandcamp.

Drawbacks that do not spoil the overall impression

The QuietControl 30 has a few quirks, but they don't detract too much from the overall impression. First, the inability to use them while charging is annoying. Secondly, the quality of the built-in microphone, which transmits the speech of the interlocutor so muffledly, as if he was broadcasting from an underground bunker, was a little upset. Well, the design here is not as convenient as that of true wireless headphones — the model is formally wireless, but there is a wire connecting a pair of headphones and a battery. But due to the fact that the battery did not have to be hidden in the headphones themselves, it was possible to increase the battery life up to 10 hours. This is 2 to 3 times more than most true wireless models.
