High-quality closed-back stereo gaming headset with exceptional build quality, balanced sound, and incredible battery life. This device represents the further development of one of the most popular headsets in the Cloud series, which HyperX has developed in collaboration with experts from QPAD. The key difference from its predecessors is the use of a wireless radio receiver instead of the classic cable.
The device's range has been extended from the basic 10 to 20 meters, and the claimed battery life can reach 300 hours! This is 5-6 times longer than other mid-range wireless headsets can operate. According to the manufacturer, the device has been successfully tested in numerous eSports tournaments, so they did not change the original shape and weight distribution of the original Cloud Alpha model.
The basis of the headband is a widely adjustable aluminum frame covered with damping polymer foam. The ear pads are covered in high-quality leatherette and feature a memory effect, adapting to the user's ear shape. The headband has all the necessary adjustments, allowing the headphones to comfortably fit any adult's head. The sound is driven by 50-millimeter acoustic drivers with neodymium magnets and support for DTS Headphone:X virtual sound.
The dual-chamber design developed by QPAD experts allows low frequencies to be separated from the mid and high-frequency components, which results in bass that sounds loud and clear, without overpowering everything else. For voice communication, the headset is equipped with a detachable medium sensitivity microphone with a pop filter and Discord/TeamSpeak certification.

Having bought headphones from the USA, I’m already rocking rock and still getting everything wet. It is clear that at times there were some misunderstandings, but nothing critical was revealed. As with any technology, there are dullness when connected, but in work you can show yourself 100%. The microphone is not the best, but the sound is not clear, but for Discord. For those who want more detail, Max Shelest has a great look at it on the YouTube channel. If the battery has been used for 6+ years, recharge should be done every 2-3 years. The included cable connects to the motherboard port and can be charged in a couple of years. The elasticity of the collection is excellent, you can lie in them on your side, without any cracking or breaking. The ear pads included are not very comfortable, so I bought velour ones. However, this is more of an individual matter. Everyone has different ears and head shapes. The adjustment mechanism is somewhat disappointing, not as precise compared to previous models, but overall it stays well on the head. Occasionally, there are connection glitches, requiring me to reinsert the dongle, but this is quite rare and does not affect the overall user experience. HyperX Cloud Alpha Wireless Review: Disappointment after two years of use. HyperX Cloud Alpha Wireless is a wireless version of the legendary wired Cloud Alpha, which gained fame for its durability and reliability. Therefore, when it came to choosing headphones, the option with a wireless connection seemed like a logical choice. Purchased on November 24, 2022 for 138€, they were supposed to be a long-term solution. Design problems. After two years of use, the headphones simply fell apart. In the end, at 3 am, the headphones had to be assembled on plastic clamps, which is not a solution. 1. Sound. 2. Battery life. 3. Signal range. 4. User experience. 5. Appearance. 1. Cracks in the cup mounts. Almost all the connections between the cups and the metal nosepiece cracked. Somewhere the problem occurred on one side, and in some places on both sides. It is only a matter of time before the cups finally fall off. 2. Broken plastic in the mount. In one place, a piece of plastic has already fallen off, leaving the cup held only by the screw. 3. Broken headband connection. The metal nosepiece that goes into the headband has crumbled. The sound quality is simply gorgeous. They have a spatial sound, I last charged them a month ago, and this is despite the fact that I use them for 16 hours every day. Living in a 3-story building, I went down to the 1st floor and they did not turn off. The quality of the materials is also at a high level, it is impossible to bend them in anger) The head does not get tired. But the only thing that let me down is the microphone.
