Thanks to an array of built-in microphones and a DSP processor with advanced ANC algorithms, the headphones can equally effectively reduce background noise (air conditioner hum, etc.), or completely isolate the user from what is happening outside (for example, airplane noise or the hum of a work machine).
As an alternative to ANC, there are 2 transparency modes (Quiet and Aware), which, with a couple of clicks, can bring back all the surrounding sounds. Thirdly, the headphones turned out to be extremely comfortable thanks to the use of proprietary StayHear umbrella-shaped tips. Hypoallergenic silicone eartips distribute pressure evenly over the ear for comfort, stability and passive noise isolation, while the extended fin clings to the ear to keep the earphones from falling out of the ears even when shaking your head like a heavy metal lead singer. Built-in Bluetooth receivers keep a stable connection at a distance of up to 10 meters from a smartphone, tablet, laptop or other signal source. They are absolutely not worth the money. Their price, based on their merits and demerits, is +/- $150. In general, if you came to the store for sound, then take Noble Audio Falcon Pro, Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 2 or Sony WF-1000XM4. It's not even worth looking in the direction of BOSE !! + Noise cancellation. It absolutely does not affect sound quality. At the highest level of noise cancellation, no distortion was noticed. + Replaceable ear tips. Personally, the medium ones fit me, (the ones that come default out of the box). I really liked the in-ear mounting. The headphones stay firmly in place and don't move around during running/sports. + Case. Despite its enormous size, I was very pleased. Everything holds securely, no creaks, no looseness. It has a latch, opens very smoothly. Pleasant charging light indication, the color is not harsh on the eyes like on some cases. Just a tiny detail, but still nice)) That’s where the positives end... - Sound. It's just awful... The wired OEM AKG sound from any Samsung is more pleasant and detailed. There is no soundstage at all. The bass is quite balanced and doesn't drown out the mids, but the thing is... There are no "mids" here! Vocals don't come through properly. The built-in app equalizer doesn't have much effect either. I'm not even talking about instrumentals, the highs are hidden somewhere under the baseboards and stuck there for good. All the instruments mix into mush. In general, if you need sound, take a look at the Noble Audio Falcon Pro, Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 2, or Sony WF-1000XM4. For the same money (~$340), you'll get much more from the sound! - Lack of high-resolution codecs. They only connect via SBC and AAC. And while AAC sounds considerably better, it still lies at the bottom. - Delay. When you switch a track, be prepared to wait 5 seconds for the new track to play in your ears.
