Conclusion: Mavic is indispensable for travels where you want to do "discreet" and "unstructured" filming. At the same time, if you want to do everything officially - Phantom is much better. 1. The main advantage is compactness! 2. Low weight that "fits" into non-licensed standards of any country. 3. Safe to handle with hands due to folding propellers (fingers can get cuts and bleed under the propellers, but nothing like with the Phantom). 4. Better remote control connection than the Phantom 4 series. 1. Weak camera (even compared to the Phantom 4). 2. Insufficient low noise (even with "quiet" propellers - expectations for less noise were clearly unmet). 3. Compared to Phantoms - much worse wind resistance: where the Phantom holds steady in the wind, the Mavic gets blown away, and it can't fly against the wind at all... use DJI Mavic Pro Platinum Fly More Combo month or more i recommend it should buy |
