The screen quality and swift GPS are notable advantages. The menu is very weak with few settings available. The touch response time is okay when one or two applications are running. The touch buttons are inconvenient. The microphone is utterly rubbish, almost like it isn't there. After six months, the sound began to disappear during trips. The reason is the amplifier overheating. Once it cools down, the sound returns, and this repeats with each overheating. You can listen to music for an hour, then you need to cool it for half an hour. Some applications started causing system errors upon opening. The players started playing by themselves, sometimes stopping a track halfway and starting another. YouTube stated that it no longer supports Android version 4. This raised questions as the device settings showed Android 7. Later, the YD 7388 amplifier, an analogue of the cheapest Chinese chip TDA 7388, overheated and burned out. The issue was overheating, as the chip was placed in a niche filled with thermal paste instead of being mounted on a heatsink for cooling. I replaced the amplifier with a Pioneer PAL007, mounted on a heatsink, and the sound is now superb. I installed a preamplifier and an output for an external microphone. I checked the motherboard markings and the chip, discovering it is Hoxiao, not EasyGo (compared it when disassembled - they are identical). When I gained root access, I found the system operates on the ancient Android 4.4 shell. I'm trying to update the version, and if successful, the device might turn out to be quite good with decent functionality. There is no tech support for the device, nor updates. The device needs amplifier cooling improvements. Otherwise, it will burn out. Quickly catches GPS, decent monitor. Android 4.4 instead of version 7, causing applications to not work correctly or not open at all, low-quality components, lack of technical support and updates. Microphone. Sound. Sparse menu and so on. ![]() |
Perhaps an ordinary budget Android radio. Not a bad GPS, it quickly finds satellites, but this is not difficult with an external antenna. I installed the camera and connected the multifunction steering wheel without any problems. Android 7 version. All applications are there, no problems with optimization. The only thing is that 3D games are practically not suitable. I mostly watch YouTube and sometimes movies. The screen is normal, bright, but the colors are standard. The buttons are touch sensitive, and this is not very convenient, although I thought otherwise when purchasing it. With wet fingers or gloves (and sometimes you get into a cold car and don’t want to take them off) you won’t make much noise. The radio has a short base, so I didn’t have to cut out part of the basket in the dashboard, which is a plus. The sound is normal, I didn’t notice any difference between the cheap 1din pioneer. It never freezes, it's fast and doesn't slow down. I like the radio, for the money it’s not even bad. Although sometimes the navigation button and mechanical volume rocker are missing. But after half a year of use I got used to it. Short base. 7 android. Price. Doesn't slow down your work. Touch buttons. ![]() |
