When doing a major kitchen renovation, I really wanted an electric convection oven. I was buzzing my husband’s ears and everything had almost worked out, but already when choosing a model it became clear that the dream was dying. The whole point turned out to be the electrical power that a powerful electric oven requires. The existing wiring couldn’t support it, and my husband was adamant about running a new one along the newly renovated corridor. I had to look for an option with gas heating. It looks great, you can immediately see that it is real Italian technology. It fits very well into the new kitchen environment. It bakes well, the presence of a fan ensures uniform temperature distribution throughout the entire volume and the same uniform heating of baked goods. However, there is a problem with browning and the formation of that notorious appetizing crust. The inside is covered with a special enamel that makes it easy to remove grease and other contaminants. Well, how easy it is, the fat itself, of course, does not bounce off and you have to work with a sponge, but compared to the old Belarusian stove, the difference for the better is very noticeable. There is a gas control required for equipment of this level, a convenient timer, a grill, a spit (I haven’t tried it yet), and good lighting. It bakes well, but it is very difficult to achieve an appetizing golden brown crust. Most often, the baked goods simply dry out, but there is no desired result. It's a shame, especially if you remember how much money they paid for it. I will also complain about the stained glass facade. It collects fingerprints perfectly. |
