Excellent headphones for gaming, for music, and a trampoline for the price

Sound, noise suppression, you can say you don’t hear anything other than the sound itself in the headphones, the microphone is terrible).
nothing) I can say that if the sound is not enough, turn the plug in until the end, otherwise it will click, otherwise the request has been served)

Essentially ideal headphones if not for their low durability
 7 December 2023
The headphones are really very good, but their durability...
Sound, comfortable, removable microphone, included USB sound card with remote control. The microphone is quite high quality. In general, the headphones seem to have no drawbacks at first glance.
I was disappointed with their durability. After just a year of careful use, the headphones had to be repaired literally every month. I got tired of it and decided to buy others
The sound is kind, ale rich minus.

The headphones seem okay, but there are many drawbacks. Don't fall for marketing and paid bloggers regarding 7.1, you won't hear any special effect; it's the usual Surround effect that is present in all standard sound cards. It was pleasing to find a complete absence of noise, meaning there's no digital noise. Even when using an expensive Sound Blaster Audigy sound card installed in the motherboard, where you can hear the modulation of the processor and motherboard frequencies, here there's no noise at all. They sit comfortably on the head and nothing gets in the way. There are no drivers, and it's entirely unclear in which mode the sound card operates.
+ The sound quality is truly better than that of inexpensive headphones.
+ Very good noise isolation from external sounds.
+ Lightweight and sit comfortably.
+ The quality of the sound card is pleasing, with no noise during pauses, meaning it's completely silent.
- 7.1 is a marketing gimmick, there's no Wow-3D-effect or positioning in games.
- To remove the microphone, you have to disconnect the connector, which is unreliable and won't last long.
- Low microphone level, after every computer start, you have to set the microphone volume to maximum on the external card.
- The external sound card constantly falls off the desk, and I've had to attach it to the monitor cable.
- There are no settings, it's unclear in what format the sound card operates, 16bit - 44000Hz or 24bit - 48000Hz.
- For such money, they could have included spare earpads.

Kingston is known for its high-quality yet affordable PC peripherals, not least of which is the HyperX Cloud line of gaming headsets. The Core model is a simple and practical solution for a computer starting at $60.

Convenience and practicality

The design of the headphones is classic for overhead closed models and is made without frills. The colour scheme is dominated by black, except for the red HyperX logo on the oval cups and the same red stitching that is stitched on the headband. The assembly is solid, the materials used are soft-touch plastic for the bowls, aluminium in the headband and high-quality leatherette for the ear pads. The latter wrap tightly around the ears, but do not tyre or press, thanks to the memory foam.

Microphone

The neck of the microphone is long enough to speak directly into it. Wind protection cuts off unnecessary noise, and plus, thanks to a good sensitivity of -39dB, the voice recording is quite clear and loud. If desired, the microphone can be turned off or removed altogether when it is not needed: if you decide to listen to music, for example, or watch a movie.

sound

Headphone sound is good for everything. Not just for games. But they show themselves most productively. The effects sound realistic, voluminous and most importantly, it is clear where they come from. For listening to music, Cloud Core is also quite suitable. The 53 mm Hi-Fi class emitters cope with the transfer of the stage with dignity. But it should be noted some inexpressiveness of mid frequencies.

With all the positive aspects of the model, it does not have a very high volume level. For a PC, this is not a problem, you can tweak it in the sound card settings, but when connected to a tablet or smartphone, everything is more complicated. Moreover, the impedance of the headphones is 60 ohms and it will not work to swing them on low-power devices.

Equipment

The delivery set is minimal compared to the more expensive versions of the HyperX Cloud and Cloud II series and contains only the most necessary: a headset with a 1-metre cable in a fabric winding, a microphone and a 2-metre extension cable, which simultaneously acts as an adapter from a 4-pin mini-jack to two separate 3.5 mm plugs.

HyperX Cloud Core is a great gaming headset for those who prefer to have everything they need at hand without overpaying for decorations and frills.
