The second iteration of the already successful HyperX Cloud headset is aimed at gamer-music lovers — the sound in the headphones is good for everything, not just games. The frame of the model is metal, and matte plastic is used on the ear cups and headband. The headset is given a special charm by the arc sewn with red thread. The tip of the headphone "tail" plugs into a port on the body of the sound card, in the center of which is the button to enable virtual 7.1 surround sound imitation.
Additionally, there are separate keys for decreasing and increasing microphone volume. On the back of the control unit, there is a clip for attaching the module to clothing. The microphone is detachable, and its position can be adjusted thanks to the flexible "neck". The headset uses 53mm Hi-Fi drivers for sound reproduction, with a frequency range from 15 Hz to 25 kHz. The sound has a clean and smooth character without the slightest distortion, and it also boasts good detail in the audio scene. The cord of the model is braided and one meter long. The headset comes with replaceable ear pads, an adapter for listening to audio signals on airplanes, and a carrying pouch.

Good, nothing more, nothing less. High-quality sound, decent microphone. Not sure why everyone complains about the fit. Here's an objective experience after 2 years of use: For gaming - great, for music - great, spending DAYS in the headphones - never hurts, sound even from the phone - good. Material quality is top-notch, nothing broke, wore out, or got scratched, absolutely like new after 2 years of use. I'm ESPECIALLY pleased with their flexibility (I've broken plenty of fragile headphones by bending, these - don't care). The external sound card is FULL crap, it makes the sound much worse. There is not enough splitter from one wire to 2: ears and a microphone, I had to look for an adapter. ![]() |
Used it for about six months, took out the microphone to play around, and ended up losing it :D It worked perfectly, and if you set the sensitivity correctly on the control panel and in Discord or Skype, there are no noises, quite a clear voice. However, if you plan to stream, it's better to get a separate mic from HyperX. The right earphone broke, I unscrewed the headphones, and the cable was cut by the housing, but that's my fault, they were always tangled, and I dropped them sometimes. - Sound quality - 7.1 - Durability - Microphone with proper setting - Soft ear padding, can be worn for hours - Easy breakability - If the person you're talking to has a mediocre microphone, your ears will suffer, especially if 7.1 sound is enabled ![]() |
The headphones are really not bad, but excuse me after a couple of hours of sitting, my ears hurt terribly, the microphone is very quiet, the high frequencies are plastic, you have to adjust everything with an equalizer, otherwise the sound is normal. For $ 100 I would like not to have these problems, I have to return these headphones, think carefully about buying, I also fell for the brand. Sound isolation, 7.1 sound, soft ear pads, relatively good sound. Ears hurt, high frequencies are too high, little bass, quiet microphone ![]() |
Made by the craftsmen at Beyerdynamic
A well-known manufacturer of memory modules, HyperX has recently been actively developing all areas of gaming peripherals, including mice, keyboards and headsets. But since the company does not have the opportunity to provide a full production cycle, some of the goods for it are made by contractors. In the case of the HyperX Cloud II headset, the QPAD brand, well-known to Western gamers, worked closely with the craftsmen from Beyerdynamic. Naturally, the expectations were quite high and, looking ahead, let's say that they were confirmed — the sound quality, convenience, and assembly are excellent here.
High-quality sound with excellent localization and detail
In terms of form factor, these are full-size headphones with large cups that completely cover the ears. The headset weighs 320 g, but does not create any discomfort even during a protracted shootout online. In terms of sound, the situation is absolutely identical to the first HyperX Cloud — here are the same 53 mm speakers that produce smooth and high-quality sound that is equally suitable for gaming, watching Hollywood blockbusters and listening to music. The frequency response is unusually even for a gaming headset, the localization of instruments in space is at the level of more expensive headphones, and the realism and detail are 11 out of 10.
Gaming headset without weaknesses
The main difference from the first HyperX Cloud model is the presence of a small sound card that connects via USB and is responsible for simulating multi-channel sound. And here again, sheer compliments: unlike many virtual surround systems, HyperX Cloud II does not lubricate sounds into mush and does not create unpleasant phase artifacts, on the contrary, the feeling is just the same as if a full-fledged 7.1 home theater was hidden in the headphones. Plus, it's convenient that the card itself has volume, microphone, and surround controls. The only complaint here may be a slight background noise that is present in static when the headphones are not playing. But against the background of all the pluses, this is a frank trifle.
