    normal model, nothing special
     10 October 2016
I worked for 10 hours at partial load. I stood packed for the summer and now before the onset of cold weather, when starting up, it will suffer half of the stated power limit!!!
    Compact on a mobile platform.
After a short period of operation it does not hold even half of the declared power!

An economical option for a backup generator for a country house
     31 August 2016
In our country house, there are often, sometimes several times a week, power outages. This is not only unpleasant, but also dangerous, because in winter, along with electricity, the electronics of the German gas boiler are turned off. So I decided to buy a backup generator. The choice was between petrol and diesel models. I chose diesel because such engines are more economical. I installed it in the basement, because there are no negative temperatures there, and, therefore, there are no problems with starting a diesel engine in severe frosts.
The generator is powerful. Five kilowatts is enough to not particularly limit the family in the consumption of electricity. Of course, you should not turn on the electric kettle, microwave and iron at the same time, but individually or in pairs, these electrical appliances work without problems. In summer, the generator provides energy for a powerful air conditioner, in winter it provides energy for the boiler. It has a normal key start system - if I am not at home, then the wife successfully solves the issue of turning on the generator, because even a child can simply turn the key. Compared to gasoline generators, this diesel is very economical. 1.7 liters per hour of diesel fuel versus 2.2-2.5 liters of A-95 for gasoline four-stroke vehicles provide significant savings.
Very noisy, even from the basement you can hear it all over the house, if you listen closely. I had to make a special exhaust system to vent gases to the street. A 15 liter tank is not big enough. We could have done at least 25, less often we would have to bother with refueling. Still, it's good that this generator is only a reserve.
