How to choose the right SSD?Choosing an SSD with the required speed and good reliability for home, work and gaming
Good evening. Once again, having opened the Hard Disk Sentinel program, I decided to write a review. At one time, when assembling a PC, I decided to save money on this part, thinking, "it'll suffice for Windows," and regretted it. At the time of writing this review, my SSD has worked successfully (if one can call it that) for 4 months and a week. Out of 100% so-called "health," only 64% is left. Many damaged and reallocated sectors and questionable durability. Since I am afraid for my data, and I have the system and many programs with files on the SSD, I am forced to buy myself a more reliable and durable SSD from companies like Samsung, Kingston, etc. Guys who are reading this review. As we already know from the saying, "A miser pays twice." Don't step on the same rake as I did and don't make my mistakes. Yes, maybe for some it still works fine, which I strongly doubt, but alas, for everyday tasks with periodic writing and erasing of information, don't take cheap SSDs from such unknown firms, especially with TLC memory. It's better to add a couple hundred and take a more expensive one, it will cause fewer problems later. All the best. Price Described above ![]() |
