I bought it with some skepticism, but I was buying it for an old laptop that I don't plan to use for more than three years. And since the warranty is just 3 years, I decided to go ahead and get it. The reviews are mixed; it all depends on your luck. However, for 480GB, you're paying the same amount of money as you would for 256GB from a more or less known brand. BUT!!! These brands deceive us because they have sold their names to companies like this one, and essentially, it's the same cheap product, just branded. Instead of 480, it's actually 512, with about 508 available, which was a surprise. The speed is sufficient for home use. Victoria showed a read speed of 460-480 MB/s; I didn't check the write speed as it's not very relevant for me in this case. It started working right away without any hassle. Lots of storage for a low price. Hopefully, it will last as long as the laptop! Victoria initially showed 6 bad sectors towards the end, somewhere in the last 5-10 GBs, after rechecking it showed 1. So I'm not sure what to say. Since the quality seems to be "hit or miss" in each case, there’s a thought that they come from used parts - memory. But if it works smoothly for this price, I don't care. |
I bought an SSD to replace an old 64 GB SSD bought many years ago on alik, this SSD is actually not significant compared to the previous one, which is also a plus, I can also note that it actually does not heat up, the surface of the laptop is in the place where the SSD was installed with the previous the model was noticeably warm, but now the heat is not felt. The real volume is somewhere around 119 GB, this is normal, the actual one is always less than the declared one, these are technical subtleties. In general, on a weak laptop, everything became much more lively, windows 10 began to load 2 times faster, even when it downloads and installs updates in the background, it stops slowing down, let's see how it will continue to work when it is 90% full and works for half a year. Excellent linear read and write speed (see photo). Random recording is not impressive, but it doesn’t seem to be, in my opinion everything is on the level. The lower indicator is also not bad, when writing on small files, this is important, for an SSD for the money, a very good IOPS indicator, judging by the random write speed, the previous one showed 18/28 MB for reading / writing, respectively. DO NOT BUY!!! I don’t know how the Chinese did it, if the first time they checked something normal, then after a couple of days the disk showed which one was true.
