Bought for a separate room, like a home theater. Plus a soundbar. Chose OLED because it's the newest technology with the most perfect image, wanted a cool TV. Unlike regular LCD TVs, this TV has no backlight, each pixel works independently. And because of this, we get perfect black color and infinite contrast. When you watch a movie in high resolution, it feels like you're on the other side of the screen. Mostly we watch Netflix with the family and sometimes YouTube. The built-in speakers are not bad, but if you want to make it a real theater, at least get a soundbar. The standard TV speakers completely lack bass, which is really missing. I'm not afraid of OLED burn-in, I strictly follow the operating instructions. For those who want the perfect picture today, get OLED, otherwise, there’s no point in getting expensive LCDs as they don't compare. In the era of panels based on self-illuminating pixels, it is very controversial to take an LCD. Both in mobile phones and in TV, this technology has taken undeniable leadership. There is only one question, which one to buy. There are a lot of manufacturers, there are even more models .On the one hand, the technology itself is expensive, so the waste is significant in any case, so plus or minus several tens of thousands does not matter. The model represents a line of premium OLED TVs from LG. She received a thin body: even in the lower thickened part, where the processor, speakers and other components are located, the figure does not exceed 4.7 cm. And at the top, the thickness is only 2.5 cm, which adds elegance and attractiveness.
When you're not watching TV, it can act as an interior decoration: when you activate the Gallery background mode, iconic sights from around the world are shown on the screen.
Perfect visibility and contrast
The 65-inch LG OLED65C9 supports 4K resolution and 120Hz frame rate. But the high detail and smoothness of the video sequence are not the main advantages of the model. The ability to completely turn off any of the display's pixels guarantees infinite, and therefore perfect, contrast with deep and rich blacks.
Large viewing angles also stand out against the background of analogues, thanks to which all viewers in a collective session will have a good viewing experience. The margin of brightness is less than that of QLED TVs, but it is enough to experience the full benefits of HDR content. In addition, the model supports most industry standards for extended dynamic range: HDR10, HLG and Dolby Vision.
webOS 4.5 platform and other benefits
The TV is running webOS 4.5 shell. Compared to earlier versions, it has acquired the Home Dashboard on-screen menu, which displays not only directly connected devices, but also all devices in the smart home ecosystem. For interaction, a proprietary Magic Motion remote control is proposed, which, in addition to voice control, provides a convenient pointer.
We should also highlight AirPlay 2 support, the presence of 40-watt acoustics with two speakers and a pair of subwoofers, as well as low input lag (less than 14 ms in game mode).

The design is also excellent, the TV is very thin yet durable. We were quite worried when we unpacked it, but found the installation instructions, and everything worked out perfectly. It looks dignified, with minimalism in design that doesn't distract from viewing.
