Marshall products are the dream of all musicians and music lovers. Minor is an authentic headphone model patented by Marshall. This was done for a reason. The model looks simply gorgeous and is recognizable from afar. Not so long ago, the manufacturer released a wireless version of Minor II, which will be discussed.
Perfect design and ergonomics
Black, white or brown matte plastic with gold-plated metallic inserts looks great in the ears, and most importantly — does not fall out of them, despite the fact that these are earbuds. Thanks to Ear Fit technology, which allows the ear cushions to adapt to the shape of the human ear, the headphones sit snugly in the shell, perfectly fit and do not tyre even after prolonged use.
Great battery life and fast charging
The lithium-ion battery pleases with great battery life. You can listen to music and talk for 12 hours, and then recharge for 20 minutes, and get another 2 hours of battery life.
Impeccable Sound
There are no complaints about the sound at all. Powerful 14mm drivers, aptX codec and Bluetooth 5.0 do the trick. Although the model is positioned for fans of a juicy guitar sound in rock style, it perfectly reproduces other styles of music, without any distortion and frequency dips. In general, the sound is very pleasant, to match the appearance.
Magnetic pause
Separately, we note the convenient function of the magnetic pause. If the headphones are removed from the ears and magnetized to each other, playback is paused, and the headphones enter the battery saving mode
Marshall Minor costs about $140, which is definitely not a pity to pay for it. Of the earbuds, it will be difficult to find anything more stylish and pleasant in sound.
The battery lasts about 6-8 hours at max volume, out of the claimed 12 hours. It's generally sufficient.
However, I would prefer USB-C for charging.
After six months, the left ear cushion came off, which I fixed a bit with super glue, and it was fine. After a year, both came off, so I glued them again and continued using them, but it's naturally an unpleasant downside.
