Nokia 8800 Arte is based on the S40 3rd Edition platform. One of the main features of the phone is the presence of a mechanism that allows you to control some functions by changing the position of the phone in space and applying a slight physical impact to it. For example, you can lightly click on the case to call up a clock with a `digital blat` on the screen.

The graphical interface cannot be called catchy, but it attracts attention precisely by its appropriateness, harmonious compatibility with the design of the phone itself. The design is done in dark, almost black and white colours.

The phone uses a very high-quality camera with a 3.2 megapixel matrix. Although it can't be compared with any more famous camera, the pictures are quite clear, and in almost any light conditions.

The maximum image resolution is 2048x1536 pixels, the video resolution is 640x480 pixels. Recording is carried out at a speed of 15 frames / sec.
