The Chinese corporation Xiaomi Corporation literally broke into the global mobile device market in 2012-2014 and turned from a newcomer into one of the industry leaders in a matter of years. Xiaomi's path to the top has been quite unusual for a manufacturer of mobile phones and accessories.
