A very good vacuum cleaner. I'm thrilled. I have carpeting everywhere. It handles it just great. When there was a renovation and sometimes I needed to extract dust and cement from some cracks, it was just super! It's quiet enough. I've been using it for almost 2 years. I bought the 9174 in Latvia. I'm very satisfied with its power; it's just outstanding. I only use disposable bags because I don't want dust from the bag to get into the motor after shaking. A drawback appeared after a month: the vacuum hose started coming off at the connection point to the body (there are 6 plastic clamps that weakened). It took me 40 minutes to figure out how to disassemble and fix it. I managed by inserting high-density, springy porous rubber under each clamp. There's another minor drawback; the paint gets scratched on the tube at the sliding sections. But this is a minor issue compared to the attachment. Overall, I'm pleased with the vacuum cleaner, and if I buy another one, it will only be this model. After trying different vacuum cleaner models, we settled on this one, although the price was biting at the time of purchase. The vacuum cleaner is already 2 years old and nothing negative to say. Philips FC 9174 is a Polish assembly vacuum cleaner designed exclusively for dry cleaning of rooms in an apartment or house. A special feature of this model is the Tri-Active nozzle for cleaning floors and carpets. Along the edges of the nozzle are retractable brushes that help in cleaning hard-to-reach places, for example, around the legs of a sofa or other furniture.
Brushes for every taste
In addition to the Tri-Active nozzle, the set also includes 4 brushes for different types of cleaning: dust, crevice, for upholstered furniture and a turbo brush with a built-in turbine for cleaning hair and wool. Philips' original solution is the handle with storage space for crevice brush and upholstery nozzle. You do not have to allocate additional space in the closet for them.
"Hunter" for dust
All the debris that gets into the vacuum cleaner settles in a 4-liter bag-type dust collector. As soon as it is full, the indicator on the body of the vacuum cleaner will signal this, and you can empty it. If the dust bag breaks, then it will not be difficult to find a replacement for it, because the vacuum cleaner is compatible with 5 types of dust collectors at the same time. The vacuum cleaner has a HEPA filter that captures 99.95% of dust, releasing the air from the device almost perfectly clean. The filter itself is freely washable under running water, and according to the manufacturer, it can last up to two years without loss of properties, although users note that it lasts much longer.

The Tri-Active nozzle cleans the floor in three different ways in one stroke. Thanks to the double hinge and internal aerodynamic design, the efficiency of the suction power is increased.
