A mid-range household vacuum cleaner, presented on the market by the popular German brand Karcher, which specializes in equipment of this type. Such a device can serve as an excellent solution for cleaning in the workshop, garage, or yard. The model consumes only 1000 W, while providing a suction power of 200 W. The world's leading manufacturer of equipment for professional cleaning is represented on the market by a relatively inexpensive and popular model of the Karcher WD 3 P household vacuum cleaner. The device is made in the form of a tower mounted on roller guide wheels. Durable plastic case and accessories have a combination of yellow and black colours traditional for Karcher products. Despite its decent size and the capacity of the dust collector, which is 17 liters, the device weighs only 5.7 kg without additional equipment. The 1000W electric motor installed in the case provides a seemingly modest thrust of 200W, which in fact allows the vacuum cleaner to work much more efficiently than conventional home models with a suction power of 350W. This is especially noticeable when cleaning construction debris.
Attaching nozzles directly to the hose
In addition to dry cleaning, the unit can be used to remove moisture. The storage tank for wet cleaning can take up to 10 liters of spilled liquid. When activating the wet cleaning mode, you do not need to use a dust bag — the liquid flows directly into the storage tank. But the use of a removable cartridge filter is necessary both for dry cleaning and for collecting water. It is characteristic that the vacuum cleaner does not have a working handle as such, and all nozzles are attached directly to a short connecting section of the hose pipe. Like many models in this class, the device is equipped with an electrical outlet for connecting power tools. A useful feature of the device is the built-in blowing function, which often comes to the rescue in non-standard situations.
The plastic of the attachment is junk. The hook on the brush, for placing on the housing in a secure position, broke off after the third time I attached the brush with the hose to the body. The plastic tubes are not rigid; when vacuuming construction debris, they bend in your hands. The brush doesn't pick up all the small rocks in one pass, and it sticks to the cleaning surface, causing the tubes to either come off or disconnect because they're not rigid. You can't press hard for fear of the plastic cracking. I was swayed by the brand and the promotional pack of spare bags, and I regret it...
Another upsetting thing is that the vacuum in its basic configuration is only suitable for single-use moisture collection. The cartridge filter can't withstand more; it's more for dry debris, but the vacuum comes equipped only with a brush for wet cleaning, and they didn't include a brush for dry cleaning, even though the vacuum is mainly for dry cleaning!
