My son and I are avid fishermen. Whenever possible, we go fishing together. To make our trips to fishing spots in our and neighboring areas more comfortable, my wife gave us this food thermos for the "Men's" holiday. It turned out to be really convenient, not only for taking a hot snack on a fishing trip. I've also started taking this thermos to work regularly, because when you have to work "in the field," that is, outdoors, good homemade food is invaluable. Stanley is a well-known international brand and this name alone guarantees the quality of the product. In this sense, the thermos fully confirms this idea. When you pick it up for the first time, you immediately understand that this is a thing! It is made entirely of metal, only the plug and some small parts are made of plastic. I dealt with cheap Chinese metal thermoses, which are made of some kind of thin tin. So, here everything is done much better, wisely. The metal is twice as thick and the wall looks and feels reliable. Such a thermos can fall off the table without consequences and can easily withstand any harsh shaking and jolts. It does not have a simple stopper, but has an additional compartment where you can put various small things. I usually put salt and pepper there, because my wife’s cooking is delicious, but she always leaves a little bit of salt and pepper short. Decent weight. With a volume of half a litre, it itself weighs 600 grams. To be honest, I expected better thermal insulation from it. This is not to say that the food in it cools down very quickly, but you need to put or pour food into a thermos while it is very hot. Otherwise, there is a chance that the contents will cool down by lunchtime and instead of being hot, it will be, at best, warm. |
