My wife is not only smart and beautiful but also an excellent homemaker. Believe it or not, this actually happens, honest ))) It was her idea to replace the old gas stove with a brand new set of a cooktop and electric oven. Since the stove really was "not great" anymore, and the oven was more of a burner than a baker, I agreed to the change right away. We chose the new ones together. We decided that the oven should be electric; my wife explained this was essential, and we would install a gas cooktop. We bought this model because it has a great price and the quality is decent. Heats, boils, cooks, and fries just as well as any gas stove. Burners of different power levels allow you to choose the right one for any cookware and various tasks. The large burner can quickly boil a large volume of water, the medium ones (specifically those in the back row) are suitable for any cookware (except the smallest), and the smallest burner is great for warming a small saucepan or simmering small, thick-walled pots. The surface is enameled, which is what my wife wanted. I actually thought that dark glass would look more elegant, but she explained that on perfectly flat glass, especially black, every drop or speck of dust would be visible. And white enamel is practical; dried water drops are not visible on it at all. The first issue was caused by a short electrical cable, but it was quickly resolved. However, the fact that the handles heat up when using wide cookware and full heat on the front burners is a more serious drawback. The material of the handles seems to be heat-resistant and doesn't suffer from this, but it still makes me uneasy. Also, the actual warranty on this surface is 24 months, not 36, as stated on all online stores. |
