The right sidewall is a solid sheet of transparent acrylic. The power supply is located in the lower compartment. Chassis dimensions are designed to install a motherboard with a typical ATX size. In the system unit itself, you can use performant hardware resources. So, on the chassis there is a place for installing processor cooling up to 156 mm high, and as discrete graphics, you can use a board up to 360 mm long. Heat dissipation is represented by an air cooling system. The Zalman i3 case is standardly equipped with 4 fans with a diameter of 120 mm: 3 coolers are mounted on the front panel, another 1 impeller is installed at the back. There are several more seats on the...top cover, but additional coolers will have to be ordered separately. Perforations are provided on the front panel to improve air convection. The button block has a special switch with which you can control the speed of rotation of the impellers, and at the same time the level of noise they create. This case has a Zalman i3 Edge modification, in which the front part is additionally protected by an acrylic panel. |

1) Good airflow. 2) Decent cable management. 3) Plenty of space inside. 4) Fans included. 5) Nice, fairly strict appearance if you remove the lighting. 6) Side window made of plastic, lightweight and won't break. 1) There is little space under the rear cover, and the cables are difficult to lay. 2) Connecting the CPU power cable through the back panel is challenging. 3) If installing liquid cooling, the heatsinks of the motherboard's power circuits will get in the way, so probably it can only be mounted on the front wall. 4) The metal is a bit thin. Not like plasticine, but it bends, fortunately, the frame is strong. 5) The side window is made of plastic and gets scratched by cloth seams. 6) The cooler height of no more than 156 mm imposes restrictions, so you have to either select a not too tall tower or place water cooling on the front wall. 7) The space for installing fans or liquid cooling in the front is not well thought out; the topmost mounting spot is blocked by a useless bar, similar in size to a DVD drive, requiring the drilling of two rivets to properly install the fans. I bought it to get good airflow - and I got it in full. I also invested 400 rubles in the case: I took the acrylic glass from the side of the case to a glass workshop, where they made the same glass, but tempered, exactly according to the sample. Now it's awesome) I barely use the fan control buttons - they just work and that's fine by me. - Good ventilation, except for the Edge model.

Don't buy the edge version, it's very poor in cooling thick metal complete coolers (relatively quiet) includes a speaker and many screws. only one USB 3.0 the reset button is very close to the fan speed change button, which caused me to restart the system unit several times. |

The case is good. How else to explain that I changed the motherboard and video card three times, replaced the PSU twice, and even swapped out the stock fans for Arctic ones (more on that later), yet the case remained the same.
Let's go in order:
1) The airflow is excellent. Sometimes, you need to remove and clean the dust filter at the front and under the PSU (every 3-6 months, especially if you have pets). If there are powerful components inside, the case does heat up, but the heat is effectively dissipated, provided that you have positioned the stock fans wisely (1 on top for exhaust, 1 at the back for exhaust, and two at the front shifted upwards for intake, you can confirm on YouTube).
2) There is enough space inside for a good ATX motherboard with large heat sinks (excluding water cooling on top, be careful), although sometimes there are difficulties with routing the CPU power cables.
3) Cable management - no problem, but if you make it look neat at the front, the rear panel will close with difficulty, as there isn't much room there.
4) Standard fans. They exist, they light up (for those who like it, of course), and for that, thanks. I decided for myself that I like the case and it was time to get rid of this rainbow, so I replaced the case fans. For intake, I installed two air pressure (P12) fans and for exhaust, two air flow (F12) fans—now cool air blows out of the case during idle, previously it was just warm, although it has become noisier and the built-in fan controller can no longer increase speeds, only decrease or completely turn off.
