Immersion or countertop blenders – what is the difference and which is better? For which tasks is it better to buy a countertop blender, and for which — an immersion one?

How to choose a mixerThe main parameters that will help you choose a mixer for your tasks
A countertop blender isn't the first type of appliance people tend to buy. We had an immersion blender at home for quite a while, almost since our child's birth. I bought this one only three years later, but almost for the same reason. All moms know that finding tasty and healthy vegetables and fruits for their beloved child is just the beginning; you also need to prepare them correctly and coax the child into eating them. We had problems with fruits and vegetables in chunks. Our son enjoyed purees and juices, but getting him to eat sliced pieces was quite a chore. Since we often host gatherings of children's groups at home, making large volumes of milkshakes and chopped fruit delights with an immersion blender was challenging. That's when I remembered about large countertop blenders. With this appliance, preparing a delicious milkshake or fruit mix takes just a few minutes. This blender has a really large glass bowl. Its full capacity is over two liters, and the working capacity is about one and a half liters. The glass is thick, strong, and tempered. You can prepare both cold and hot mixtures in the bowl, even puree soups right from the stove, as the glass is heat resistant. The manufacturer promises it won’t crack. As for me, I believe Bosch )) The speed of the blade rotation is smoothly adjustable, and there is a convenient pulse mode. The powerful motor and sharp cutting edges (don’t touch them with your hands, they're extremely sharp) handle even thick mixtures well. There are automatic programs for making drinks and crushing ice. The blender looks very modern and has become a real highlight of the kitchen. Expensive, like all Bosch equipment. Very noisy. |
