Fits comfortably in the hand. This might seem unimportant to some, but when you handle something daily, it should feel pleasant. These small details contribute to the quality of life, and it's important for me to maintain it at a high level. We only live once, after all. As for how it shaves, I can only speak in superlatives. I previously had a decent rotary shaver from Philips, so I'm comparing with full understanding. To me, this Braun seems noticeably better. First, it leaves almost no irritation. That's a real issue for sensitive skin, which I have. Two independently suspended shaving heads and a similarly movable trimmer thoroughly shave any stubble – it cuts both daily and 3-4 day growth equally well. The charging and cleaning dock is new to me. I doubted its usefulness but changed my mind. It’s a necessary, convenient, and practical thing. True, the cartridge lasts for two months and costs 200 hryvnias, but then you don’t have to worry about cleanliness and hygiene. Good rechargeable nickel-metal hydride battery. Charges quickly, and the capacity lasts for 8-10 days of use. I was pleased with the rich set, which includes a convenient carrying case. Compared to the old rotary three-head shaver, this foil shaver takes more time. However, the difference is minor, only a couple of minutes at most. So, it doesn't really seem like a significant drawback. The nickel-metal hydride battery is not the most convenient and long-lasting power source for the shaver. A lithium-ion battery would be more capacious and lighter. Moreover, lithium batteries do not have a memory effect, while a metal hydride battery must be fully discharged and charged, otherwise it will lose capacity. |
