The assembly and timing are excellent, with all the basic features and durability you expect from the Casio G Shock line. They display time and date, and can function as a stopwatch/timer. I wear these watches for my regular workouts in all conditions, rain/snow, heat/cold, running/strength training. The main issue is the connection with my smartphone and data synchronization. When I finally manage to connect the watch to the phone, the step count data often doesn't transfer. Besides, the night lighting is poorly designed: the light stays on for no more than 3 seconds, and that's not enough to change any settings on the watch, like switching to the stopwatch and then activating the stopwatch. ![]() |

The main issue is the connection to my smartphone and data synchronization. The initial pairing and setup are very simple. But then, it usually takes a few attempts to pair the watch/phone/app. When I finally manage to connect the watch to the phone, often the step count data doesn't transfer. Besides this, I find the night illumination poorly designed: the light stays on for no more than 3 seconds, which isn't enough time to change any settings on the watch, like switching to the stopwatch and then activating the stopwatch.
