At first glance, it looks like a great case, but it's worth looking at the dimensions and comparing it with other cheaper cases - this one is just overpriced, almost like ATX. Ill-conceived relief and ventilation on the side, if you put it close to the wall, the ventilation holes will close. Beautiful design. Huge dimensions, okoroblo, strange relief of the side, a lot of free space at the bottom in front of the hull. It was possible to put additional baskets for the HDD. use Deepcool Smarter LED less than month |
I bought it in June 2020. The problems started with the installation of the components, I've been upset with it for a long time. It scratches easily, there won't be any problems with dents either. I opened the covers and moved the case often, so there were enough scratches. I can't say anything about the blowing of the components, there was never a shutdown due to overheating and the temperatures were quite acceptable. If I knew that the case would betray me like that, I would never have bought it 2 built-in fans and USB 3.0 on the front panel. There was enough space for cable management Thin metal. Didn't fit Asus prime b450m-a: the holes for mounting the tower cooler and the front panel wires are blocked by the case and the motherboard itself. Got it with a broken USB 2.0 on the front panel. Had to tighten the HDD LED contacts myself with a needle. The light from the fans is dim, almost nothing comes out (then why are they needed if there is no transparent side wall?) Install the processor cooler and RAM only after installing the hard drive (I did not follow this sequence and then dented the hard drive mounts) use Deepcool Smarter LED more than year |
good case for upgrading pc everything fits all the components it's hard to clean it from dust if the cooler is big ![]() |
Optimal size
Inexpensive gaming computers are most often assembled on the basis of mid-sized MicroATX motherboards, so you shouldn’t overpay for a full-sized ATX case, because it won’t fit under every table. The main thing is that the cooling of the MicroATX case is well thought out, as is done with the Deepcool Smarter LED.
Through blowing
At a low price, Smarter LED is equipped with as many as two 12-cm fans, luminous blue - front for intake, rear for exhaust. There is room for a third 12cm propeller on the side panel, but that's probably overkill. In comparison, most other low-cost cases come with only one 8 or 9 cm fan (more noise, less airflow) or come without one at all.
Cheap but not poor
Among other things, the Deepcool Smarter LED has a 2.5-inch SSD mount and a USB 3.0 port on the interface panel (both of which are rare in low-cost cases). The only drawback is that the power supply is mounted on top, which draws in some of the hot air from the processor and graphics card. So top-end gaming PCs in such a case are not worth assembling, but otherwise a solid, and even a nice-looking solution.
