Quick readiness for work

Released in 2019, the Swedish manufacturer Electrolux iron belongs to the QuickSteam models, that is, it quickly reaches the desired temperatures and supplies steam. The 2350-watt heater is claimed to take just 90 seconds to start up by adding water to the 1.2-liter removable reservoir.

Simple control

In Electrolux EDBS 3370, the steam supply for ironing or vertical steaming can be adjusted: there are 3 levels with a maximum intensity of up to 125 g / min and a pressure of 5 bar. To select the mode and general clarity of control, a control panel with indicators and audible alarm is located on the back of the base. And to set the temperature on the iron itself there is a traditional rotary dial.

Branded outsole with indication

The device is equipped with a sole from ceramics SoftGlide. It comes with 84 steam outlets for even steam distribution and improved ironing efficiency. Another feature of the work surface is the ThermoSafe indicator. The rectangular label at the spout can change colour from black (when cold) to red (hot), acting as a hint of readiness for work and an additional protective option.

By the way, for security reasons, the Electrolux EDBS 3370 also has an automatic shutdown function after 10 minutes of inactivity.

No drips or scum issues

Plain tap water is allowed to be poured into the iron, because the complete replaceable cartridge placed in the tank cleans it of scale. Over time, it will have to be changed, which will be warned by a special indicator.

An anti-drip system is designed to protect against splashes of water (instead of steam) and stains from it on light-coloured clothes. A latch for a 1.8-metre mains cable, located at the base of the steam generator, should slightly help in storing and transporting the device.

Electrolux EDBS 3370 is an interesting representative of the middle price segment, able to impose competition on irons from other reputable brands like Tefal, Braun or Philips.
