A fairly advanced model of an inkjet printer, mainly designed for printing photographs. At the same time, the maximum resolution of image quality is excellent 5760x1440 dpi, but for the sake of this quality, we had to sacrifice print speed. The printer is designed for photographers who need economical and high-quality photo printing. The main feature of the model is the ability to work autonomously, that is, without a direct connection to a computer. The control panel has its own colour touch screen; at the same time, the working surface of the control panel itself is movable, which allows the user to adjust its position for themselves. The screen size is 6.9 cm — the presence of such a display opens up the possibility for primary editing of pictures directly on the printer. In addition, t...his model received a unique continuous ink supply system (CISS). Cartridges are built into a special module, which makes it easy and convenient to service equipment. One full refill of the Epson L810 printer is enough to print 1800 photos 10x15 cm in size. This model is able to work with paper of almost any density, from 64 to 300 g/m², while the grammage is automatically recognized. Additionally, the printer is capable of printing on optical media such as CD/DVD.

Fast, high quality and affordable inkjet printing
 30 December 2017
Previously, I did not consider an inkjet printer as a good option for home printing. The main problem was the cost of consumables, namely cartridges. Manufacturers transferred part of the cost of the printer to the cost of consumables, which greatly increased the cost of maintenance. But now, when many models of good color printers with pre-installed factory CISS have appeared on sale, the situation has changed dramatically.
I use the printer both for printing ordinary black and white documents, and for printing in color and photo printing. The main advantage is the built-in factory continuous ink supply system (CISS) for 6 containers. Goodbye cartridges, now I just buy ink in bottles and refill them myself in the regular CISS tank. The speed is astounding, reaching a maximum of 37 ppm (draft) for B/W text documents, which is faster than most inexpensive laser printers. AT . Color graphics, such as an A4 booklet layout, are printed slower, but still take quite a bit of time, from 10 to 15 seconds. Photos take the longest to print, but to say that about 35 seconds for one high-quality 10 by 15 print is a long time for my tongue. The print quality on native inks is excellent, color printing on high-quality glossy photo paper is just a bomb. And this printer can print photos without a computer at all. It has a built-in card reader, a 7cm LCD screen, and that's enough to get a great print in two minutes.
The printer is inexpensive to maintain, but the purchase costs a very large amount. Management is not easy, it took a long time to understand the details. In theory, it should work with thin paper up to 60 g / sq. M, but the pickup does not always work.
