After several broken Chinese thermoses with glass flasks, I decided to look for something more reliable and durable. But my wife was ahead of me and I received from her as a gift this wonderful metal German-Chinese thermos. The manufacturer is registered in Germany, but places orders for production in China. I'll tell you right away about the quality, it's impeccable. It is impossible to find fault with the processing of metal, plastic or carving, even if you really want to. Three things are important to me in a thermos. The first is, of course, its thermal insulation. It is believed that metal flasks hold heat or cold much worse than glass ones. Probably, in order to verify this statement, you need to have two thermoses with different flasks from the same manufacturer. Because it turned out that this metal one holds heat better than the previous glass ones. Checked, hot tea stays hot for 8-10 hours. Holds cold well too, went fishing last week and poured ice water into it, three hours later it was still very cold. The second important point is impact resistance. I do not like things over which you need to shake and blow off dust particles. This thermos is made of durable stainless steel type Х18Н10 and it is not afraid of moderate mechanical points or small blows at all. The third advantage is convenience. A good lid and a pleasant-to-use valve are just as important as thermal insulation. And this thermos is just beautiful. Expensive, but given its metal flask and the fact that in Europe they give a five-year warranty on it, it justifies the price. Once a valve leaked a little, either something got into it, or something else. |
