I remember the good old Liebherr, assembled in Germany. He was very good. You could say that you buy a refrigerator for life. No kidding, the German Liebherr, bought in 1996 from my parents, has worked for 21 years and I see no reason why he should not work for the same amount. But modern refrigerators of this brand are already assembled in Bulgaria. And the Bulgarians are our brother Slavs, and with all due respect, they are never Germans. But the brand is good, reliable, and I still bought this copy. Well, what can I say, for seven months of his work, I did not have any serious complaints, but Liebherr "is not the same anymore." Sad but true. The model is high and capacious. The designers were not afraid to make it tall and rightly so. And how else can you usefully use the space above refrigerators 185-190 cm high? It was useless anyway. A large two-meter height made it possible to make a huge refrigeration compartment. In our old refrigerator, it was equal to 192 liters, and here as much as 270. There are four of us in the apartment, they somehow fit in the old one, it became much freer in the new one. The freezer is more modest, a little less than 90 liters, but it is enough to store meat, fish and a reasonable amount of frozen vegetables, fruits and berries without straining. No Frosrt works in both cameras. There are corresponding functions for fast cooling and fast freezing. I was especially impressed by the quick freezing, the berries froze "to stone" in just 15-20 minutes. The temperature in the chambers can be set independently of each other, two separate cooling circuits allow this. Management electronic, touch, with the LCD screen. Now about the sad. The quality of materials is not what it used to be. The design of the German Liebherr was angular and deliberately awkward, but the plastics and metal were such that you could immediately feel the margin of safety and the class of the device. The modern Liebherr is in this sense the same as all of its cheaper competitors. The plastic is thin, bending, the metal also does not differ in thickness and strength, it seems that you can wash your finger and leave a mark. |
