Solid stationary desktop circular (circular) saw. This model is designed for professional use and is able to work for a long time without interruption. Provides accurate and fast longitudinal, transverse and angular cutting. It cuts fairly large workpieces from hard and soft woods, chipboard and fiberboard, handles with laminate and laminated chipboard, and easily cuts thermoplastics.

Makita has always pleased with a quality tool, but in the last 3-4 years, their quality has gradually declined. You can see savings on materials (where there used to be absolute rigidity, now there is reduced thickness and there is no such rigidity), on processing methods (stamped parts instead of milled or cast ones) and careful assembly of structures (unexpected backlash and inconsistencies in critical places). So this saw, about which I heard a lot of good things from a colleague, in fact turned out to be with significant flaws, and the price tag is considerable. Quite heavy and stable, but still not old school with cast iron beds. Able to give a cutting depth of up to 90mm, which is a lot for such a baby. The saw can be rotated by 60 degrees and tilted by 45. The depth of cut in the second case is reduced to 64mm, but this is also a good result. I like the large and expandable desktop.
