I've put the Mitas Walrus V41 Classic 28x1.75 (42-622) on my KROSS Level B2 2015 (29"). I've been riding on this tire for over 5 years for sure. I’ve installed it only on the front wheel, while I opted for the Mitas Cobra V58 at the rear. I replaced the stock Schwalbe Smart Sam with these. The wear level over more than 5 years is visible in the photos, although the tire is quite soft (I rode between 3000 to 5000 km on it all together). I made the switch because I wanted more speed and ease when riding on asphalt than the Schwalbe offered. I got better roll, more speed, easier acceleration, increased maneuverability because the tire is thinner. The grip is really good, unexpectedly, because the tire is narrow. It performs well on hard surfaces and forest roads. It’s worse on gravel, slips a bit, slips even more on rocks, and riding on sand is not that pleasant either. It hasn't cracked over the years, and I’ve had fewer punctures than on the Schwalbe, probably because of the narrower tire.
