This is a shame and failure of OnePlus, I do not recommend it in any way. Divorce for money 100%
 2 June 2024
Original headphones, purchased from a brand store. Used for a year. I absolutely do not recommend them, they're not even worth 10% of their price. I'm a fan of OnePlus smartphones (6t, 7pro, 11) so I decided to get the OnePlus Buds Pro 2R for my OnePlus 11 after watching many video reviews. As a result, I'm disappointed and will be looking for something else. What was disappointing? 1- The controls on the headphones are inconvenient, even after a year I couldn't get used to the hard presses on the earbud stem. 2- They disconnect on their own two hundred times a day (the sensor triggers). 3- After a year of use, they started to discharge quickly. 4- In the past month, I've noticed that the connection to the case disappears on its own, the smartphone doesn't see it, I have to open the case and press the connection button. Overall impression, these headphones are a disgrace and a failure for OnePlus, I absolutely do not recommend them and will no longer consider this company for headphones. However, their smartphones are great and worth the money.
Handy case.
Inconvenient control from the earphones. They disconnect on their own about two hundred times a day (sensor triggers). After a year of use, they started discharging quickly. In the last month, I noticed that now even the connection with the case disappears on its own, the smart doesn't see it, I have to open the case and press the connection button.

For this price - don't bother with that, look for another option, maybe -Liberty 4/Sony

I bought this model to replace my FIIL T1 pro after watching YouTube videos where everyone praises them. The choice was between these and the Anker Liberty 4. Many people complain about the excess bass in the Ankers, which can't be fixed even with an equalizer, so I decided to go with the Pluses. Why did I decide to buy new headphones at all? - The fit in my ears, which are "awkward." FIIL is just amazing, but I got tired of constantly adjusting them. I didn't opt for the One Plus 2 version without the R suffix because the only difference is the presence of wireless charging and 3D technology (spatial audio), which I don't need. I got them in Obsidian Black color, they look awesome, the case is matte, but the inside of the case gets scratched even by air, and even with very careful use, scratches appear. About the fit? - AMAZING. It's exactly what I was looking for, they are very light and comfortable, no need to adjust them 100 times - in this sense, I've won. About the sound? - Here, I was disappointed. Especially with the noise cancellation - it's a 3 with a big minus. Sometimes you can even hear the person talking next to you, tried a bunch of eartips, but they're far from the level of FIILs I used before... Transparency mode - all good, no complaints. About the bass - here was disappointment #2. They're "average," not deep, on the level of $20 earbuds. Playing with the equalizer and trying different phones didn't improve their quality. Sound and microphones - no complaints, everything is decent, very high quality. Would I buy them again for this money and recommend them to others - no.
Look, victoriousness, LANDING AT THE VOICES!!!, microphones, autonomy, lungs - the ears are not pressed
Noise cancellation is very mediocre
Bass - 3
Non-standard sound tube - oval-shaped, hard to find eartips
Software - clunky, update to the latest version breaks noise cancellation completely, hasn't been fixed after a long time
Price
Impossible to listen while wearing a hat, very often pauses, phantom sensor activations

Great headphones. I advise you to consider them in conjunction with a OnePlus smartphone.

I want to share my experience using the OnePlus Buds Pro 2R headphones. I switched from Razer Hammerhead True Wireless X to this model. There are few differences between OnePlus Buds Pro 2 and 2R: the 2R lacks wireless case charging and some features like spatial audio and head tracking. But the sound quality is impressive - everything sounds clear and crisp. I'll note that by default, the EQ preset lacks bass, but this is easily fixed in the settings. They are comfortable to wear, although sometimes you need to adjust the position slightly. The only thing I didn't like was the sudden 1-2 second audio interruptions. It's very convenient that for OnePlus users, the headphone setup is possible without extra apps. You can adjust the equalizer and use the "Golden Sound Profile" function. The program analyzes your hearing and adjusts the frequencies, making the sound perfect. You can also remap the headphone controls, and the physical control is convenient. In the settings, you can update the headphones' firmware. The headphone case is convenient; nothing creaks or wobbles. Charging the case and headphones is very fast. As for active and passive noise cancellation, they work well.

I used the proprietary LHDC codec, available only for OnePlus smartphones, which provides high sound quality and low latency. Also, due to earbud adjustments, the sensors may falsely detect that you've removed the headphones, and they need to be fully reinserted into the ears.
Sound, active and passive noise cancellation, shape and fit of the headphones, golden sound profile function, physical control of the headphones, charging case. Setting up headphones without unnecessary applications.
Sometimes sound interruptions for 1-2 seconds, false alarms of proximity sensors.

They differ from the Buds Pro 2 model in the absence of wireless charging case, green body color and head tracking for surround sound.
