Since I live in a big and noisy city, I always appreciate good sound insulation in headphones. Unfortunately, my favorite format is that ordinary earbuds with pads do not provide soundproofing at all. In a trolleybus or in the subway, you have to turn the volume up to the maximum, and even then it's still hard to hear. But such channel headphones in such situations help out hard. Bought for use as inexpensive outdoor headphones. They had an experience with very cheap Chinese, but there, apart from annoyance from wasted money, I got nothing - they broke exactly 10 days later, and there was no guarantee for them from the word at all. This model, due to the use of channel silicone vacuum liners, gives not only a powerful sound, but also removes almost all external noise. Importantly, the noise cancellation here is completely passive, requiring nothing more than proper placement of the earpiece in your ear. Headphones give a pronounced bass sound. It is well suited for modern dance and club music, rap and hip hop, and any other compositions with an emphasis on heavy and rhythmic beats. I like this sound, but only in the above genres. They fit perfectly in the ears, have a simple round cable and an L-shaped mini-jack plug. In such headphones, it's dangerous to cross large streets, and under no circumstances should they be worn with a hood. They block external sounds so effectively that you can't hear a thing, not even a big diesel truck passing right behind you. Therefore, combining them with a hood, which also severely limits peripheral vision, can be hazardous. The bass is too powerful, masking and "smearing" mid-range frequencies, so not all music sounds good with them. The cable near the cups has no protection against breakage at all. |

Appearance is bright. They are attracted by a transparent leg, a glossy dome-shaped body, and an abundance of colours, of which there are as many as 7: black, red, white, lilac, blue, grey and light green. The nozzle is located slightly at an angle to the body, which is why the headphones fit snugly into the ear and do not fall out. External soundproofing is excellent, so on the street you should be careful not to immerse yourself in music with your head.
The cable in the RP-HJE190 is easy to tangle, but also easy to unravel, but Panasonic has been stingy with its normal thickness. With intensive and not very careful handling, after six months or a year, a break at the leg of the emitter housing from frequent bends cannot be avoided. With a plug, the situation is simpler, it is L-shaped, so it will live longer.
Thirst for sound
The sound of 10 mm drivers will appeal to fans of rock and dance music. The frequency range of 6 – 24000 Hz offers us deep accented basses and sharp highs, however, somewhat blurry. The middle sounds less expressive, in this range there is some blurring. In general, using equalization on the playback device, you can achieve a good sound of pop music, but this will not save the middle frequencies much.
The RP-HJE190 for its price of 15 USD can be called good headphones with a pronounced bass component for users without high sound requirements.
