I bought it in June 16th in Allo for less than $30. It worked great all the years. I use it on my head and stubble. There is a problem with battery wear. It helps that it works from the network. The problem is finding the battery and replacing it, since disassembling it without damaging the case is unlikely to be possible.
The eccentric through which the shaft drives the knives also sometimes began to fall out of its socket. Then it just hums, and the knives stand still. You need to remove the nozzle and put that little thing in its place. In general, the operation of the device is satisfactory. I only shave with it and get my hair cut too. Excellent battery (still new) - charges quickly and lasts a long time. Still low self-discharge. While I had the new one, one charge lasted me for three weeks, if not more. Overall, I think that the trimmer has fully justified itself. Would I buy exactly the same one - definitely yes. Light weight, high-quality and soft work, good ergonomics, mains operation. Batteries cannot be easily disassembled to replace without damaging the case.

Autonomous and informative
The model can be used standalone or offline. The time for a full charge of the battery is 1 hour, and battery life reaches 90 minutes. Philips HC-5450/15 is equipped with one nozzle. It has a wide range of hair length adjustment — from 1 to 23 mm in 1 mm increments. This allows you to use the machine not only for modeling a beard, but also for cutting hair. However in the latter case, the main disadvantage of the model is well manifested — the comb is heavily clogged, and it has to be cleaned often. Therefore, the benefit of the turbo mode is somewhat lost.
