Thermal insulation layer
The steel buffer tank Reflex Storatherm Heat HF 500 has a capacity of 500 liters, which is expressed directly in the model name. Outside, the tank body is covered with a layer of heat-insulating material (flexible polyurethane 90 mm thick) and, in addition, pasted over with white or silver film lining. In turn, the inner walls of the storage tank are not treated in any way.
Heat storage
The buffer tank accumulates excess thermal energy, which is generated by the heating boiler, and releases it to the heat supply system when the temperature of the heat carrier drops. Additionally , the design of the model provides an outlet for connecting an electric heating element of the appropriate size with a power of 3 kW.

The maximum pressure in the tank must not exceed 3 bar, and the permissible operating temperature of the coolant must not exceed 95 °C.
