2 compressors and maximum flexibility
The flagship unit of the Scandilux brand actually consists of two devices at once, made in the same design — the R 711 EZ12 X refrigerator and the FN 711 E12 W freezer. As a result, the model has not just two independent cooling circuits, but 2 compressors.
Together with the unit, a special kit is supplied for connecting the tandem into one. And thanks to the possibility of re-hanging the doors, the user has the right to decide for himself whether to put the freezer on the left or on the right.
Large capacity and ease of use
Scandilux SBS 711 EZ12 X is a roomy unit even by the standards of Side-by-side refrigerators. The useful volume reaches an impressive 660 liters, of which 280 liters are in the freezer. Such indicators are provided primarily due to the solid width (120 cm), although the height is slightly increased (186 cm against the background of the most running 179 cm).
The model does not need manual defrosting thanks to the Full No Frost system. The deodorizer with the ION Tech ionization function is responsible for removing unpleasant odours. Two touch panels with indicators on the outer side of the door are offered as controls at once. Here it will be convenient to adjust the temperature, activate the modes of rapid cooling or freezing.
The shortcomings include not the lowest annual energy consumption (497 kWh), but in terms of energy efficiency it corresponds to the A + class.
Plenty of shelves and containers
There are seven sections in the Scandilux SBS 711 EZ12 X freezer: 2 folding shelves and 5 drawers, one of which is larger (BIG BOX). The freezer will delight you with powerful freezing, up to 21 kg of food per day. And the time of autonomous preservation of cold at 15 hours with a margin will “block” most emergency power outages.
The 336-litre refrigerator compartment is complemented by a 44-litre zero compartment with two freshness zone containers for storing meat, fish and dairy products. Below them is a Humidity Control compartment with support for humidity control (optimal for vegetables and fruits). Also in the refrigerator compartment there is a chrome-plated bottle rack and five wide door pockets.
